of the late Christopher Duff , late of Co. E Reg't 7 U.S. Infy Vols., personally came
before me, a Notary Public , in and for the aforesaid County and State,
Mrs Ella Ayers , who, I hereby certify, is a respectable and
credible person, and who, being duly sworn, declares in relation to the aforesaid claim as follows:
I have known the deseased Christopher Duff all my life - have never heard of him being married before he married Catharine A. Duff in Philadelphia I also have reason to believe that Christopher Duff was her first husband. She is living here keeping a stage stand making a support by the same. She has never married since the death of her husband Christopher Duff
He further declares that his post office address is Erin Sprgs , County of Perkins , State of Chickasaw Nat , and that he is not interested in said claim or concerned in its prosecution.
