Brown, William R., Richard Y., and the late Alice Ropp. Services Wednesday, February 7, 1:30 p.m., at Olson Funeral Home, 6467-73 North Northwest Highway. Interment Bohemian National. Member of Myrtle lodge, No. 795, A. F. & A. M.; Irving Park chapter, No. 195, R. A. M.; St. Elmo commandry, No. 65, K. T., and Egypt Shrine, Tampa, Fla. SP 4-3333.

Services for Frank E. Spikings, 80, of 1272 Cora av., Des Plaines, veteran float and floral display designer, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, in the chapel at 6467 Northwest hwy. Mr. Spikings died Saturday in Holy Family hospital. He had been a float designer 40 years and headed F. E. Spikings & Company, 2341 N. Kimball av. He worked on many of the floats used in the annual Chicago Christmas parade and had designed floats for use thruout the United States, Canada, and Cuba. He is survived by a sister and two brothers.
