Rebecca Cox passed away Thursday evening at five o'clock after an illness of about four months. She was born in Muskingum Co, Ohio, Dec. 8, 1830, being 67 years, 5 months and 6 days of age at her death. She was united in marriage in 1855 to Thomas McNary. Nine children were born to this union, two having preceded their mother to the land beyond. Her husband died some years ago. At her request, she was laid to rest in the Auburn cemetery by the side of her mother. She leaves three sons, four daughtes and one brother besides many other friends and relatives to mourn her loss. She was a good neighbor and a kind mother.
