B. F. McBROOM DEAD

B F McBroom died of heart failure at his home 514 North Third Street Sunday afternoon. Mr. McBroom's health has been failing for several weeks. Mr. McBroom was born in Tennessee, June 12, 1843 and came to Arkansas twenty-five years ago. He lived a few years on a farm east of the city then moved here and entered the grocery business. He was a man highly respected by all who knew him. He leaves a wife, and several children of whom Miss Hattie, Claude and Tom and Mrs. Ed Rounds are well known. His funeral took place from the family residence Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev J. M. Hughey conducting the service. The interment was in City Cemetery.


McBroom Funeral

Mrs. Eliza J. McBroom, who died at 514 North Third street Monday at 8 o'clock, was buried yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Oak cemetery. The funeral took place from the residence. Revs. Sherman and Broyles officiated. The pall bears were as follows: E. F. Furner, D. F. Furner, A. E. Furner, W. O. Hogan, W. W. Williams, E. Fowler.
